Elect Cohen Knights of the Universe / Elus Coen Equinox Floor Cloth

This is the ritual working cloth of the Élus Coëns, reproduced from the source diagram of the Equinoctial Operations of the Elect Master Cohen. At eight feet square, it accommodates a full working group and sits at the center of the temple space without crowding it.

Symbolic Content

The design carries the double concentric circle with the quartered cross, the four cardinal cross pattées, and the complete ring of the four Archangels and four Evangelists with their zodiacal and alchemical attributions: Raphael with the triangle of Air, Marcus with Leo, Uriel with the Sun, Lucas with Taurus, Gabriel with the triangle of Water, Mathaeus with Aquarius, Michael, and Joannes with Scorpio. Eight candle positions mark the inner ring. The central cross carries the lunar and Saturnian symbols at their correct axes.

Every placement is verified against the original operational diagram before cutting begins. Nothing is approximated, repositioned for visual balance, or altered to fit the cloth.

Materials & Construction

The ground is heavyweight organic cotton, dyed black, sized to a full eight-foot square. The design is laid in precision-cut white vinyl — sharp-edged, registered to the diagram, and bonded to the cotton with even pressure across the full surface so the geometry sits flat to the floor.

The cloth lies without bunching, rolls cleanly for transport, and the contrast holds at working distance under candlelight, lamplight, or daylight. Vinyl was chosen over paint or screen-print because it gives a uniform line weight on a textile of this scale and resists the abrasion of repeated working use.

Use

Centered in the temple as the operative floor for Élus Coën equinoctial work and adjacent operations. The eight candle positions on the inner ring mark the working stations clearly. The full working group can stand at the perimeter without overlapping the inner geometry.

Care

Spot clean only with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash, wring, or dry clean. Lay flat or roll for storage — do not fold along the vinyl lines. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the vinyl–cotton contrast. With proper care this cloth will last for decades of working use.
